About Kerrie Flanagan

I am thrilled to be writing for Bkeepsakes. I am a mom, wife of a wonderful man who I have been married to for 24 years and a writer. My kids are now grown but family is still the central part of my life. I live in Colorado and I can't imagine living anywhere else.

My time is divided up into a few different areas. I run Northern Colorado Writers, an organization I founded back in 2007 to provide support and encouragement to writers. I also have a small publishing company I started this year, Hot Chocolate Press featuring books to warm your heart, nourish your soul and spark your sense of adventure. And lastly, I am a freelance writer for various magazines and now this blog. Before becoming a writer, I was an elementary school teacher for 10 years.
